Canon PIXMA iP4600 & iP3600 Photo Printers Launched In America

Promising to deliver easy, efficient and economical print outs, Canon has introduced two new photo printers, called the PIXMA iP4600 and PIXMA iP3600, in the US.

With the help of the enhanced ChromaLife100+ enabled ink set and Easy-PhotoPrint EX software, both the printers produce vivid and long-lasting photos. Designed for novice, these latest PIXMA printer models guarantee high-quality photo prints, and fast printing speed due to simple-to-use software and individual Canon ink tanks.

Both the printers are compatible with Canon Auto Photo Fix that detects the type of photo being printed such as portrait or scenery. On activation, it can help to correct red eye, enhance facial tones, optimize brightness and contrast and improve color saturation to provide better looking photo output without manual photo editing.

Furthermore, the other common features of the iP4600 and iP3600 photo printers include a maximum color resolution of 9600 x 2400 dpi, Canon FINE (Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) printhead technology, new five-ink system, PictureBridge technology and two-way paper feeding.

While the iP4600 printer boasts to produce 4 x 6 inch lab quality and borderless photo in approximately 20 seconds, the PIXMA iP3600 claims to carry forward the same function in 41 seconds.

Moreover, the iP4600 features DVD/CD labels, Genuine Canon Photo Papers the print speeds of up to 26 pages per minute (ppm) for black, and up to 21 ppm for color, ability to hold up to 300 pages and a built-in automatic duplexer for printing double-sided documents that eliminates the burden to manually turn the paper.

The iP3600 printer include features like Smart LED, and printing speeds are up to 26 ppm in black and up to 17 ppm in color amongst the above mentioned specs.

The Canon PIXMA iP4600 and iP3600 printers are price at $99.99 (approx. Rs. 4,404) and $79.994 (approx. Rs. 3,523) respectively.
