Fry’s Drops $1099 New Macbook Before Black Friday
Early adopters, prepare to be annoyed. Those of you who have been putting off picking up the sexy new aluminum MacBook, prepare to be pleasantly surprised - as long as you live near a participating Fry’s. While plenty of speculation is being tossed around with regards to Apple being aggressive with its pricing this coming Black Friday, Fry’s is apparently sick of the hubbub. Rather than wait to find out what Apple has in store for the upcoming shopping holiday, if anything, future MacBook owners can make their way down to Fry’s where the base aluminum MacBook will be on sale for $1099. $200 off the normal retail price isn’t too shabby at all.

Nano Silver Could Cause Environmental Pollution
A report released by the UK Royal Commission on Environmental Pollution indicates that we might not know enough about nano-engineered materials for them to be widely used. In fact, the commission chair will not wear clothing that has nano silver in it until more study is completed.
Nano silver is an antibacterial particle that’s used in a lot of clothing like socks. And while it is not thought that an individual wearing anything with this substance in it, would be harmed by it, it is the idea that the silver could potentially leave the clothing during washings.

On the surface, yes, this sounds patently ridiculous. Why would Apple enter a market so firmly dominated by a huge companies like Google, Yahoo and Microsoft? Oh wait, yeah, Apple kinda went there with the iPhone and that seems to be working out ok. Can lightning possible strike yet again as Apple enters yet another market and makes big waves? Maybe. Safari currently owns about 7% of the browser market and we all know how popular the iPhone is. Right there, Apple has a pretty big in if it was to attack Google head-on.

Mgestyk Fusion: The Force Is 6-Degrees Strong With This One
Everyone and their grandma loves the Wii. But even Nintendo’s new dual-axis MotionPlus struggles in 3D space due to limitations presented by the sensor bar. Mgestyk thinks it can do better by marrying its interesting gesture processing technology to the sensor data received from devices like the Wiimote. Mgestyk Fusion replaces the sensor bar with a 3D camera and image processing to translate yaw, pitch, roll, forward/back, right/left, and up/down motions from the Wiimote connected to a PC over Bluetooth.

Rumor: $149 iPhone Coming From Costco
So this sounds a bit unbelievable, but it’s interesting nevertheless. Especially, when you consider all of the Black Friday sales coming up. It seems a $149 iPhone might soon be available from Costco.
According to Global Equities Research founder, Trip Chowdhry, you will soon be able to get the iPhone from Costco retailers. We’re talking as soon as January! On the surface this seems incredible unlikely. I mean, Costco and the iPhone aren’t exactly two things that go together.
