Samsung announced the availability of its latest mobile phone, dubbed Messager. Also termed as SCH-r450, the handset is developed for MetroPCS customers.

With its sleek horizontal slider-design and QWERTY keyboard, the phone integrates Stereo Bluetooth Wireless Technology, MP3 Player that supports rich-user interface, 2.1-inch 262K TFT, 176X220 pixels screen, 1.3 megapixel camera, advance voice recognition, speakerphone and messaging services, including SMS, MMS, email and IM messaging capabilities.

“The stylish horizontal slider of the Samsung Messager is easy to use. The Samsung Messager’s attractive layout and QWERTY keyboard is a great fit for people who love text messaging,” noted Bill Ogle, Chief Marketing Officer of Samsung Telecommunications America.

Featuring in dimensions of 4.4” x 2.0” x 0.7”, the Samsung Messager R450 phone is compatible with an external micro SD slot that ensures up to 2GB of storage space.

Shining in black and green color tones, the Samsung Messager R450 handset is immediately available through the MetroPCS wireless provider in the US for a suggested price of $199 (approx. Rs. 8,354).
