Atelier Van Lieshout has designed the Sensory Deprivation Skull, which is a chamber in which you could get away from it all, and be in a meditative little enclosure. The Sensory Deprivation Skull is made of reinforced fiberglass and measures 150cm x 110cm x 137cm, and only 10 of these are available.

If this wasn’t enough, he has also created the Wellness Skull, in which you can sweat it out, for it has an built-in sauna in the head and a bath in the neck. Bystanders can watch hot steam escape through the eyes of the skull while you are inside. Though the designer has a philosophical view for the skull-based designs, I feel, it is all about the human obsession about what constitutes the mind and the mysteries of the brain, which has tormented the scientists and the masses for so long. Nevertheless, both the products allow you to relax, unwind and feel better in enclosures that are designed like a skull.
