Samsung to show 50 inch OLED TV

The CES 2009 will be kicking off in a couple of weeks and of course the first promises from companies already surface with what cool electronics they will try to dazzle us. In an interview on WhatHiFi (via OLED-Info) Samsung’s HS Kim, Vice President in charge of Flat Panel Development said that Samsung might show a 50 inch OLED TV at the CES 2009.
Unless Samsung is starting to sell the 50 inch OLED TV in 2009, they actually can leave that panel in their Korean headquarters. In 2005 Samsung already showed a 40 inch OLED TV. Kim correctly sees the problem not in the size of OLED they can make, but the price.
