Samsung India has announced the launch of an array of consumer technology products in the country. The new line includes three new advanced LCD Monitor series, projectors and digital photo frames. In the LCD monitors segment, T Monitor, Myst Plus, and Lime series of display are unleashed by Samsung for Home and SOHO customers.

Inspired by designs from the automotive and fashion industries, the Samsung T Monitor range promises to offer advance picture quality with its superior features such as a dynamic contrast ratio of 20000:1, a 2 ms response time, a Panel that supports 16.7 million colors.

Available in 19-inch and 20-inch and 22-inch, these models boast to be 40% more energy efficient than other monitors as it utilizes merely 0.3W of power in Power Off Mode (the world’s lowest standby power) and 34~45 W Power Consumption in operation-mode.

Moreover, the T series also carries TOC (Touch of Color) design that provides a hint of amber color with piano black bezel frame. It also equips Samsung’s exclusive ‘dual injection technology’ to eliminate the need for glue or screws to construct the Monitor bezel.

Samsung’s Lime series of monitors has a USP that makes it the communication webcam monitors. It comes bundled with V2oIP function to let users chat; enjoy video conference through its 3 megapixel webcam, speaker and microphone. Housed in a soft minimalist design with a black high glossy cabinet and soft curvatures, the Lime series has attributes such as dynamic contrast ratio of 8,000:1 and a fast response of 5ms. Besides, it also comes pre-installed with Samsung-ArcSoft “WebCam Companion” and a unique Motion detection to capture video. The Lime series of monitor comprises of 19?, 20? and 22? wide formats.

Available in 17? and 22? wide display format, the Samsung Myst Plus monitor line up provides a dynamic contrast ratio of 20,000:1 and a fast response time of 5 ms, HDCP support and a Dual input of D-sub, DVI. It comes in offers a stylish distinctive design in white and black with crystal deco bar.

The other segment of foray is the Digital Projector market. Samsung has launched A800 full HD 1080p projector that makes sure that consumers appreciate the picture quality and true to life images. Based on the DLP 1080p Film Technology, the A800 offers 95% aperture ratio and a fast response time of 16MS, 1080p 24 frame true film modes and a contrast ratio of 10,000:1. Resting in a stylish and premium dolphin design, it delivers Joe Kane Certified picture quality.

In addition to monitors and projector, the Samsung has also enhanced the digital photo frame market with the launch of its 8-inch SPF-83H Digital Photo frame.

“This Photo frame comes with an internal memory of 128 MB and simple functionality .We will be further strengthening the range by adding our wireless network photo frame in another couple of months”, commented Sanjay Sharma, VP-IT Business, Samsung India Electronics Ltd.

The Samsung T Monitors carries a price range of Rs 12,500 to Rs 15,500. The Lime Monitors are available for a price ranging from Rs 14,000 to Rs 17,000. The 17? and 22-inch Myst Plus come with a price tag of Rs 9575 and Rs 14,000, respectively. The A800 digital projector retails for Rs 350,000/-. The SPF-83H digital photo frame is priced at Rs 9,900.

Samsung has also introduced new series of monitor that ranges from 17-inch to 22-inch screen size and costs between Rs 9,800 to Rs 18,000. More LCD monitor ranging from 15.6? to 22?, screen sizes are also introduced for a price between Rs 8100 to Rs 18000. For a large screen monitors that ranges between 24-inch t0 82-inch, Samsung has Rs 24,000 to Rs 20 lac.
