HP Offers 3g Connectivity With Hp Mini 1000
More and more netbook manufacturers are jumping onto the bandwagon that involves integrated 3G connectivity, with HP being the latest “victim”. The built-in model will function on AT&T or Verizon’s Wireless broadband networks, but will retail for $199 which is much more expensive compared to the $125 AT&T broadband modem that Dell uses for its Inspiron Mini 9. It makes even less sense on HP’s part considering AT&T will reimburse you $120 of the purchase price when you sign up for a service plan.
