Asus Launches N Series Notebooks In The Uk
Asus has announced the launch of the N Series notebook range in the UK.
The range boasts a “Super Hybrid Engine” that automatically allocates power, with the claim of preserving battery life up to 35%, the Express Gate operating system that allows users to access their most commonly-used programs in 8 seconds or less as well as the SmartLogon facial recognition system.
There are four models the Asus N Series range, the first of which is the N10 that offers a 10.2-inch screen, is based on the Intel Atom processor, has NVIDIA GeForce 9300M graphics card and a 250GB hard drive for £499.
The £649 N20 has a 12.1-inch screen, boasts up to 12 hours of battery life, gets an Altec Lansing sound system, a 320GB hard drive and Intel Core 2 Duo processor.
The N80 is aimed at professionals, offers a 14.1-inch display, has an NVIDIA GeForce 9 Series graphics card and offers Dolby Surround decoding and will be priced at £699.
The 15.4-inch N50 is described as “the pinnacle of mobile computing,” offers backlit touch-sensitive buttons, a Blu-ray drive and will set you back £749.
Somewhat unusually, the N50 also offers a built-in “Air Ionizer” that claims to not only helps clean the air around the user of allergens and germs, but also promotes air-flow and circulation.
