Asus Eee PC 900A Revealed

OK, I officially give up on the Asus Eee PC. There seems to be so many variants lying around, that you would need a whole wiki to find out the intricate difference between all of them. There is a new variant in town - the Asus Eee PC 900A that will be powered by Intel’s Atom processor compared to the Celeron chip in older 900 models. Features of the 900A include :-

• 2.2 pounds in weight
• 8.9″ 1,024 × 600 resolution display
• 1GB DDR2 memory
• 8GB/16GB SSD option
• 4-cell battery
• 0.3 Megapixel webcam
• Wi-Fi connectivity
• Ethernet LAN support
• Three USB 2.0 ports
• SD/MMC memory card slot
• VGA output
• Linux operating system

It will retail for around $460 in Germany (the 8GB model), with no word on whether this variant will make it to the US or not.
