Apricot Unveils Picobook Pro Netbook

Apricot announced the launch of its latest Picobook Pro netbook, in the UK region.
This 8.9-inch netbook is powered by a Via C7-M 1.2GHz CPU and sports a 1GB RAM, a 60GB hard disc, two USB ports, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, a 1024 x 600 pixel display.
At just 0.98kg and 230 x 171 x 38.7mm of dimensions, the Picobook Pro features a 1.3 megapixel webcam, a built-in 4 in 1 Card-reader and a VGA port as well as an optional WiMax support.
Working on Li-ion battery, the Picobook Pro netbook offers a continuous operation of approximately 4 hours on a single charge. It comes with an option of Novell SUSE Linux or Windows XP Home operating system.
The Apricot Picobook Pro netbook is available in the United Kingdom for an estimated price of £279 (approx. Rs. 23,510).
