TomTom’s Two Way HD Traffic GPS Unit Clears The FCC

The FCC has just given their nod of approval for TomTom’s two-way, HD Traffic GPS Navigation System, and hopefully this would mean the good people living Stateside will be able to take advantage of it in the near future. What makes the HD Traffic so special include a modern traffic information system that helps you reach your destination faster, 5x more traffic updates compared to other services, wide coverage including highways and N-roads, relevant pre-trip information to help you avoid unnecessary jams, and 3-minute real-time traffic updates to make the most informed choice possible. Of course, other features include a 4.3″ LCD display, 1GB of internal memory and a SIM card slot.
