ZPowerpac Portable Fuel Cell Chargers - The Next Big Thing?

Looks like the Medis 24/7 Power Pack will have a competitor. Power Air has just announced that they’re set to let loose their Zpowerpack portable fuel cell chargers for hand held gadgets.

According to the company, their Zpowerpack7 can provide up to 1500 charges depending on what kind of device you’re charging, and the Zpowerpack13 can provide as many as 2500. Along with the fuel cell charger, a consumer gets an AC adapter, and USB charging cable, and connector tips for a variety of devices.

      Eee Gets An Oakland Booty

You know, I really don’t get these massive batteries that you can get on the aftermarket for netbooks like the MSI Wind or the Asus Eee. I totally get the netbook, the big selling points are portability, low-weight, low cost and decent battery life. Many of the Eee rigs can deliver up to five hours of power from stock batteries.

For some users that isn’t enough power and for them the Sir Mix-A-Lot approved 10-cell battery has tipped up. This massive battery adds a hiney that is wider than the Eee PC 1000H and 901 machines it is designed to fit.

Powergenix Reveals Potent Nizn Rechargeable Aa Batteries

Move over Li-ion, Zinc is about to get all up in your area. Energizer has already announced the Zinc Air Prismatic, and now PowerGenix is gearing up to debut its variation at Ritz Camera Locales across the nation. The Nickel-Zinc (NiZn) AA cells, difficultly coined Quantaray Super Z, pack up to 30% more voltage than other Rechargeables (right in line with one-time use batteries) and are entirely nontoxic. Oddly enough, no price is mentioned, but you should probably go in expecting the worst in order to not be totally taken aback upon finding out. Full release is after the break.

      Toasty Charger

The Toasty Charger by Hyun- A Ko makes each charging session into a Breakfast Scene, or whenever it is you toast. For me, that’s breakfast. Assuming it can take all Varying Sizes of lithium ion batteries, you slide one in, push the toaster handle down and wait for it to pop back up again. Granted this is one toast that’ll take a little longer than usual so if you’re not around to see it pop, there’s a handy dandy color coded LED Light in the shape of toast for visual reference. Mmm, breakfast!

Rock Multiple Monitors Via The Vibook USB Adapter

Having a multi-monitor workstation increases productivity dramatically and thanks to the ViBook USB, it’s now easier than ever. The $130 PC/Mac dongle simply plugs into a USB port and outputs up to 1680×1050 or 1600×1200 over VGA or DVI. This could be a great, but somewhat costly, solution for notebooks or towers alike. A heck of a lot easier than installing a new graphics card, that’s for damn sure.

      Energizer 15-Minute Charger

There are only a handful of gadgets in my possession that can’t be charged over USB: TV/Cable/Blu-ray player remotes and my DSLR. My Xbox 360 controller was a battery hog once upon a time, but the Nyko Charge Base took care of that. The remotes aren’t as taxing on batteries as my SLR — that puppy is constantly draining my supply of batteries. I could always cut back on the amount of photos I take, but life wouldn’t be as much fun and I’m all about fun.
