Z-Car With The Rubber For Expanding And Contracting
A concept car with the stretching out in running and contracting down in parking has been displayed.
Renowned master architectural designer, Zaha Hadid and Patrick Schumacher exhibited their concept car, ‘Z-Car’, in ‘2008 Seoul Design Olympics’ where it is held in Jamsil Sports Complex from October 10 through October 30.
In order to minimize the wind resistance and secure the visual space while driving, Z-Car has the vehicle body descended and it is lengthened back and forth. When parked, the car is shrunken to have the linear shape to enable the parking in smaller space.
