KIA Release Its Premium Sedan ‘Forte’

Kia Motors today held a press conference to launch its new sedan ‘Forte’ in Korea market, which is set to replace the current Cerato at the end of the year. Forte is the new name of the overseas model, which will go on sale in its home market of South Korea by the middle of the year.
The Forte sedan will initially be offered with 1.6-litre or 2.0-litre petrol engines in naturally aspirated form. Australian versions will only come with the more powerful 2.0-litre engine, and will also be available with both manual and automatic transmissions.
The new Forte is designed to attract a younger target audience for Kia, and will also help the carmaker reach its goal of doubling its global sales tally by 2010.
Suggested price is between 11,930,000(KRW) and 19,650,000(KRW) depending on engine type.
